Welcome to Vikingland Jr Shooting Sports, located in Brandon, Minnesota! We provide 3P air rifle and BB gun training for youth ages 7-18. Join us to develop skills, safety awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for shooting sports. We are committed to quality instruction and a safe, supportive environment.
Our mission
Vikingland Junior Shooting Sports is a 50l(c)3 organization that provides opportunities for youth to learn about, practice for, and compete in state, national, and international amateur marksmanship competitions. Vikingland Junior Shooting Sports is not a social club: It is a competitive training club, all participants have an interest in shooting, a desire to compete in matches, and may eventually acquire their own equipment to continue and advance in the program.
Training programs
We offer a variety of training programs designed to meet the needs of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced shooters. Our certified instructors provide expert guidance and personalized instruction to help each participant reach their full potential.
Introduction to shooting
This program is designed for beginners who have little to no experience with air rifles or BB guns. Participants will learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, proper handling techniques, and basic marksmanship skills.
Intermediate skills
This program builds upon the foundation established in the Introduction to Shooting program. Participants will refine their marksmanship skills, learn advanced shooting techniques, and improve their competitive performance.
Advanced marksmanship
This program is designed for experienced shooters who are looking to take their skills to the next level. Participants will engage in advanced training drills, competitive shooting simulations, and personalized coaching sessions.
Competitive shooting
This program is for shooters interested in competing. Participants will learn the rules of various shooting competitions, develop strategies for success, and participate in simulated matches.
About us
Vikingland Jr Shooting Sports started as a vision 4 years ago for Carl and Hope Wilson. In September 2024, we opened the doors to our first set of shooters. We are now into our 2nd year of students and have expanded into BB guns for our younger students.
Vikingland Jr Shooting Sports is dedicated to providing quality air rifle and BB gun training for youth ages 7-18 in Brandon, Minnesota and the surrounding areas. Our certified instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping young shooters develop their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
